The Save Our Schools Initiative Takes on New Identity
Under recent advisement from fellow community leaders, advocates, and State Officials we have taken our formerly known “SAVE OUR SCHOOLS Initiative” and have officially registered our movement as a Super PAC (Political Action Committee) through the Maryland Board of Elections as School Reform NOW PAC. By taking on this new identity it affords new avenues and protections that we currently did not have available to our cause. The Reform NOW Project still remains dedicated to reform within the Christian Church, and our School Reform NOW movement maintains our position of holding the school boards of the State of Maryland accountable to the students and parents they serve.

Started in 2022, The School Reform NOW Movement is a “Community Action Movement” focused on issues in our public school systems that affect all members of our communities regardless of political affiliation, religious beliefs, or lifestyle.
‘The School Reform NOW Movement‘ is an initiative of The Reform NOW Project. The Reform NOW Project’s focus is reform within our Christian Church Communities.
The Reform NOW Project is a nonpartisan, non-denominational, volunteer-driven organization recognizing that issues within our communities need attention outside the church. These exterior issues affect our interior ability to reform our church communities.
The Reform NOW Project and The ‘School Reform NOW Movement‘ are not about religious influence in the Public School Systems. Our function is to protect our children from curriculum and policies that we believe are not in the best interest of All Students. And to hold School Board Members accountable for their responsibility to parents and students.
The Reform NOW Project is a community project of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland.
The ‘School Reform NOW PAC / School Reform NOW PAC, LLC’ Movement operates independently from the religious/ecumenical functions of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland.
The Reform NOW Project Director and School Reform NOW PAC Chairman is Rick Cech. Rick Cech serves as Chief Elder of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland. Rick is a retired school teacher and administrator from both the private and public school systems.
