Who Is Our Sponsor Ministry
Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland
Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland or DIMOM (Pronounced DEE-mom) is a Non-Profit and Non-Denominational Christian Ministry focused on Uniting God’s Kingdom.
DIMOM sponsors independent ministry projects that need an organizational structure outside of a church congregation or denominational structure. DIMOM does not dictate any denominational or doctrinal views other than that of fundamental, biblically supported, Christian values. DIMOM‘s purpose is not to operate as a “church” but to be the support structure for ministries and church plants to build from.
Sponsored ministry projects under Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland are governed by their own board of directors which may or may not include representatives of DIMOM depending on the purpose and scope of the ministry project.
The Reform-NOW Project‘s Board of Directors maintains the relationship with Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland.
Participation in, volunteering with, or receiving services from a supported ministry project of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland does not bind or signify any commitment, or obligation to Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland.
Subscription to newsletters, emails, or other communications from the main entity of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland is voluntary.
“Think of DIMOM like popsicle. The good stuff of a popsicle is what is on the outside, but every good popsicle needs a stick to hold it together, DIMOM is that stick.”

Pastor Steve founded Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland as a catalyst to reunite churches as a united body in Christ.
“What is a Kingdom?
A kingdom is made of many villages, each governed internally but allegiant to one King. Many churches and Christians have lost sight that despite our denominational and doctrinal differences, we are to operate as a kingdom. A Kingdom comes together in times of distress and war under the command of its King. Today more than ever our Kingdom is in distress. We fight among ourselves and leave the fields wide open for evil to surround us, and if you look around in our communities and in the media today I’d say our Christian Kingdom is in peril.
This is why Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland was started, to be the gathering point for Christians and churches to unite under our King Jesus Christ and make an impact for our communities.” — Pastor Steve
